Donate ‘things’
Do you have useful items at home that you don’t use very often? things kept in a loft, shed, garage or under the stairs can be really useful to someone else.
If you’d like to donate items to our Library of Things, please get in touch. Items should be clean, safe and in good working order — they don’t need to be new.
Currently we are open to all sorts of donations; tents, tools, kitchen appliances. If you don’t use it, find out if we can!
Volunteer in the library
We’re always happy to hear from people who’d like to help run the Library of Things.
Volunteering might involve welcoming members, checking donated items, or generally lending a hand when we’re open. No special experience is needed, just a friendly approach and a bit of reliability.
If you’re interested, please fill in the form below or pop in and have a chat with us when we’re open.
Be a repair cafe fixer
Our pop-up Repair Cafes rely on volunteers who enjoy fixing things and sharing practical skills.
If you’re handy with repairs like small electrical items, clothes, furniture or general household fixes – we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need to be an expert; patience and a willingness to help are what matter most.
Repair Cafes are relaxed, friendly events, and a great way to support others while doing something practical.
